Baluns are routinely used
in conjunction with laptops, computers, and PCs, especially in education,
church, and corporate presentation applications. They may be used to send
either display (VGA, DVI, etc.) or control (PS2, USB, etc.) signals. Generally,
the computer will either have a HD15 or DVI video connector
and will output a VGA resolution as the main signal
format. Different baluns support different resolutions: it is important
to determine your signal's bandwidth and overall distance when selecting
a balun.
