When used with a compatible transmitter, the Intelix DIGI-HD-IR2-R transmits HDMI and IR up to 300' over two twisted pair cables. Built-in HDshāk® processing provides dynamic HDMI, EDID/DDC and HDCP mode selection, gauranteeing performance and image quality. The DIGI-HD-IR2-R features electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuitry which safegaurds the HDMI ciruit against static electricity and other destructive stray voltage.

shouldn't I use baluns? |

The Intelix DIGI-HD-IR2-R
is HDCP compatible; however,
you must verify your source and destination devices
support (or don't support) HDCP encryption.
Essentially, HDCP compliant
devices will only transmit to or receive from other
devices with HDCP coding. The Intelix DIGI-HD-IR2-R
balun will also work if neither device is HDCP compatible. |
