V1A2 Composite Video and Stereo Audio Balun |
|
The Intelix
V1A2
balun is an ideal solution for transmitting composite video
and stereo audio up to 2200 feet over structured cabling, such
as Cat 5. The V1A2
was discontinued on September 15, 2006. It was replaced by the
AVO-V1A2.
|
Example System |
Example System 1: Two V1A2 baluns connect a DVD player to a
remote plasma and an audio receiver. Audio and video from the DVD
player is balanced by the source balun, transmitted over the Cat 5
cabling, and then unbalanced by the receive balun. The audio from the
DVD player is sent to the audio receiver and the video is sent to the
plasma.

|
Example System |
Example System 2: A common
application for the AVDA-8 and V1A2 balun is in retail kiosks and
residential home theater distribution--two scenarios in which a single
audio/video source is routed to multiple destinations. In the above
example the composite video and stereo audio from a DVD player is
distributed to four remote plasmas.
